Job summary

micro1 is seeking a Strategic Project Lead, Robotics for a remote, full-time position. You will own robotics data pipelines end-to-end, coordinating with engineering, operations and finance to drive high-impact projects.

You will design scalable pipelines, manage sensor systems, and translate client requirements into executable systems while balancing cost, quality, and throughput in a remote-first environment. Equity and strong benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Experience with robotics data pipelines end-to-end and large-scale data processing.
• Hands-on with sensor systems and multi-camera setups.
• Strong cross-functional communication across engineering, operations and finance.
• Ability to define schemas, workflows, and operational standards.
• Proven track record delivering complex, high-impact projects.

Responsibilities

• Own robotics data pipelines end-to-end with accountability for quality and delivery.
• Design and optimize large-scale data collection and processing pipelines.
• Scale operations by balancing cost, quality, and throughput.
• Deploy and manage hardware systems (multi-camera rigs, sensors).
• Lead data transformation pipelines aligned with client schemas.
• Identify bottlenecks and build automation for validation, QA, and reporting.
• Define capture protocols, workflows, and operational standards.
• Translate client requirements into executable systems and processes.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations and finance to drive execution.
