Job summary

Morpheus Talent Solutions is hiring a Strategic Project Lead in New York City to own high-impact engagements with frontier AI labs from scoping to delivery. You will translate lab data needs into concrete data specs, manage timelines, and collaborate with internal teams and partners to ensure world-class execution.

The role demands ownership, strong communication with researchers and stakeholders, and the ability to navigate complex data projects under demanding timelines.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3+ years in a high-pressure, high-ownership environment such as engineering, technical program or account management at a startup.
• Track record of owning complex, ambiguous projects with multiple stakeholders and delivering on them.
• Comfort engaging directly with high-profile technical and research counterparts, with real curiosity about how models are trained and evaluated.
• Strong analytical skills: structure messy problems, work with data and build metrics for progress.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior external stakeholders.
• Gritty, action-oriented approach and willingness to roll up your sleeves.

Morpheus are partnered with a fast-growing AI data company that licenses real, de-identified operating data from businesses to frontier AI labs. They have scaled from zero to a significant run rate in a matter of months, and they are backed by leading investors. It is a small team where you carry outsized responsibility and grow as fast as the company does.

The role

They are hiring a Strategic Project Lead to own their most important engagements with frontier AI labs, end to end. You will take a lab’s goals for the data it needs, turn them into a scoped, high-quality delivery and run it through to completion, working directly with the lab’s researchers on one side and the internal team and partner companies on the other.

This is a high-ownership role for someone who is as comfortable in a research conversation as they are in the operational weeds.

What you’ll do
