Job summary

Fehr Graham, based in Rockford, IL, seeks a Financial Planning and Project Accounting Manager to lead the project accounting and financial analysis team. You will drive planning, forecasting and actionable insights for project managers and operations leaders.

Qualifications

• Progressive experience in project accounting, FP&A and leadership roles.
• Experience in architecture/engineering/construction or professional services preferred.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead project accounting, profitability reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Develop and guide the project accounting and financial analysis team.
• Collaborate with project managers to interpret results and plan next steps.
• Build budgets, forecasts, profitability models and leadership dashboards.
• Improve financial planning processes and data quality across projects.
• Ensure timely reporting within established controls and deadlines.
• Identify financial risks and communicate concerns to CFO.
• Coordinate with Controller to align project and general accounting.
