Job summary

W. G. Yates & Sons Construction Company is seeking an experienced Project Executive to lead federal program acquisitions, client relations, and budget oversight for secure facilities.

You will manage executives across multiple departments and ensure compliance with FAR/DFAR requirements and Yates safety standards. Roles include direct contact with federal agency leadership, negotiation of complex contracts, and strategic growth of the government portfolio.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of construction experience with 10+ years in management leadership.
• Active TS/SCI or Secret clearance or eligibility to reinstate.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
• Deep knowledge of FAR/DFAR, EM 385-1-1, and EPC delivery models.

Responsibilities

• Executive leadership recruiting and directing cross‑functional teams.
• Lead federal project acquisition including complex RFP/IDIQ/MATOC proposals.
• Oversee pre‑construction and start‑up processes with ICD 705 guidance.
• Maintain accountability for EVMS, forecasting, and P&L performance.
• Build relationships with federal COs and agency stakeholders.
• Champion safety programs and Lean/Last Planner across projects.
