Job summary

Star Staffing seeks a Project Estimator to support planning and bidding efforts. You will develop timelines, labor requirements, material quantities, and cost projections, coordinating with project managers, vendors, subcontractors, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate estimates.

The role requires reviewing blueprints and technical documents, analyzing requirements, and preparing detailed cost estimates while managing bids and schedules with project management software.

Responsibilities

• Review blueprints, specifications, project plans, and other technical documents.
• Evaluate project requirements and develop detailed material, labor, and cost estimates.
• Identify factors that may affect project pricing, production, and scheduling.
• Prepare, track, and maintain vendor and subcontractor bids.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with vendors, subcontractors, clients, and architects.
• Enter and track project information and costs using project management software.
• Present estimates and pricing information to management and project stakeholders.
• Track actual project costs and maintain accurate records.
• Assist Project Managers with estimating, bidding, and schedule development.
• Perform additional job-related duties as needed.
