ARCO/Murray National Construction is seeking a Project Developer in Chicago to lead pursuit and development of entertainment- or hospitality-related interior renovation projects. You will manage from site identification through preconstruction in collaboration with project managers and design teams.

You will oversee due diligence, entitlements, permits, and cost estimates while interfacing with brokers and clients to align timing and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management preferred.
• 2-4 years of construction project management or MEP design experience in support of restaurant, hospitality, or entertainment-related projects.
• PE license preferred; ARCO/Murray will support licensure pursuit for EIT.

Responsibilities

• Manage due diligence of existing site conditions including surveys, asbestos studies, MEP/Structural review.
• Manage real estate entitlements and permits to start and execute the project.
• Interface with client brokers to facilitate lease or purchase transactions and risk mitigation.
• Be the single point of contact for the client during the preconstruction process.
• Coordinate with real estate attorneys, land owners, and development partners.
