ARCO is seeking a Project Manager for the Hospitality team in downtown Chicago. You will drive project performance from design to closeout, coordinating with clients and the design team to develop budgets and add value through cost-saving ideas.

Lead preconstruction planning, subcontractor buyout, and on-site meetings while tracking progress against budget and preparing pay applications. ARCO offers strong growth and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifikationen

• BS in Engineering or related field.
• 2-5 years of construction management or engineering design experience.
• Experience leading ground up commercial/hospitality/restaurant projects preferred.
• Proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project.

Aufgaben

• Lead and coordinate all managerial and administrative aspects of a project from preconstruction through closeout.
• Develop preliminary concept drawings and project budget with clients and design team.
• Review scope of work, discuss cost-saving ideas, and negotiate contracts and fees.
• Oversee subcontractor selection and buyout for all trades and vendors.
• Identify opportunities to procure material or equipment directly when advantageous.
• Lead preconstruction planning meetings to resolve constructability and scheduling issues.
• Lead on-site meetings and address progress/challenges with the client.
• Track performance vs budget and prepare owner pay applications and progress reports.
