Job summary

ARCO/Murray National in Chicago seeks a Project Developer to lead pursuit and development of entertainment- or hospitality-related interior renovation projects. You will manage from site identification through preconstruction in collaboration with ARCO/Murray Project Managers and design teams.

The role offers high client exposure, real estate coordination, cost estimation, and schedule management to ensure timely, on-budget project delivery.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of construction project management or MEP design experience.
• Experience delivering projects on schedule and budget.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred; ARCO/Murray supports licensure for EIT.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Project and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage due diligence of site conditions including surveys, asbestos studies, MEP/Structural review.
• Manage real estate entitlements and permits to start and execute projects.
• Interface with brokers to facilitate lease or purchase transactions and risk mitigation.
• Serve as the single point of contact for the client during the preconstruction process.
• Advise clients on site layout, building design, and entitlement path to fit timing and costs.
• Coordinate with real estate attorneys, landowners, and development partners.
• Oversee budget management of due diligence and design costs; manage cash flow.
