Global Technical Talent, an Inc. 5000 Company, seeks a Project Controls Manager for a 12-month contract in Kansas City, MO. The role focuses on leadership of a project controls department, ensuring robust reporting, schedules, and cost control across multiple large projects.

The position requires 7 years in project controls, with expertise in scheduling, cost management, and data-driven reporting. Onsite work with driving requirements is expected, and sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• 7 years of direct project controls experience required.
• Experience in critical path scheduling and cost management.
• Ability to develop detailed construction schedules and interface with engineering and procurement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of scheduling reports, cost reports, cash flow reports, and forecasts for multiple projects.
• Lead the development of a reporting data warehouse for program controls reports across large projects.
• Support recruitment, development, training, and evaluation of the project controls team.
• Lead the development and implementation of project execution plans.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, customers, and contractors to grow business.
• Oversee engineering, procurement, and construction planning, scheduling, logistics, and cost control.
• Interface with project management and accounting to review costs and support audits.
