Job summary

Fugro USA is seeking a Project Buyer in Houston to lead procurement planning for complex projects and mobilizations. You will translate technical scopes into sourcing actions, manage supplier relationships, and help ensure on-time delivery within budget.

The role requires ERP/e-procurement experience and a strong focus on quality and safety. The position offers a hybrid work model and opportunities to collaborate across Project Management, Operations, Engineering, Logistics, and Finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, procurement, business administration, engineering, logistics, operations management, finance, or related discipline preferred.
• 3+ years of experience as a Buyer including sourcing, expediting and invoice resolution.
• Experience in ERP, e-procurement, and supplier-management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement planning aligned with project milestones and on-site dates.
• Translate technical scopes into sourcing and purchasing actions.
• Identify long-lead items and procurement constraints early.
