Job summary

HP seeks a Strategic Programs & Operations Expert to support the HP Foundation’s employee engagement and volunteering initiatives, translating priorities into clear plans and coordinating across teams. The role involves planning missions, events, and managing deadlines with military experience as a relevant asset.

You will collaborate with regional PR teams to prepare media releases, engage policymakers, and contribute to strategic planning.

Qualifications

• Four-year or graduate degree in journalism/communications, marketing, or related discipline.
• Typically 7–10 years of experience in government affairs, public policy/relations, philanthropy, project management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with regional PR teams to drive global communications objectives.
• Organize and facilitate high level external visits, events, and activities for positive engagement.
• Support outreach with policymakers, industry players, academia, and key opinion formers.
• Prepare and edit information for media releases and public communications.
• Prepare detailed reports, testimonies, and responses to inquiries by government bodies.
• Coordinate with international teams and achieve consensus across stakeholders.
