Strategic Programs ManagerDescription -Job SummaryThe Strategic Programs Manager will lead cross-organizational governance, planning, and stakeholder engagement activities across HPS Product Engineering and key partner organizations including Poly, ACS, and MDS. The role is responsible for establishing operating mechanisms that enable effective prioritization, decision-making, and execution across multiple organizations. This position will serve as a critical connector between business, engineering, operations, and executive leadership teams to ensure alignment on strategic priorities and successful delivery of key initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesGovernance & PlanningDesign and operate governance processes that support strategic planning and execution across HPS Product Engineering, Poly, ACS, and MDS.Establish and facilitate regular prioritization and planning forums.Drive cross-functional decision-making and issue resolution.Maintain visibility into strategic initiatives, dependencies, risks, and commitments.Strategic AlignmentPartner with leaders across organizations to align priorities, staffing plans, investments, and roadmap objectives.Identify and address gaps in planning, communication, and execution.Ensure alignment between business objectives and operational execution.Stakeholder ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with leaders across HPS Product Engineering, Poly, ACS, and MDS.Act as a trusted advisor and coordinator for cross-organizational initiatives.Facilitate productive engagement among executives, directors, managers, and operational leaders.Portfolio ManagementTrack strategic initiatives and cross-functional programs.Manage dependencies and escalations across organizational boundaries.Provide executive-level reporting, status updates, and recommendations.Executive OperationsPrepare leadership reviews, business updates, strategic planning sessions, and executive communications.Support annual and quarterly planning cycles.Drive action tracking and accountability across strategic initiatives.Preferred Qualifications8+ years leading complex cross-functional programs in technology organizations.Demonstrated experience influencing across organizational boundaries without direct authority.Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.Experience establishing governance frameworks, operating models, and planning processes.Ability to synthesize complex information and drive data-driven decision making.Experience working with engineering, product, operations, and business leadership teams.Proven track record of driving organizational alignment and execution at scale.Success Measures (Year 1 )Establish a consistent governance model across HPS Product Engineering, Poly, ACS, and MDS.Improve prioritization transparency and decision-making effectiveness.Reduce leadership overhead associated with cross-organizational coordination.Improve visibility into dependencies, risks, and strategic commitments.Increase execution predictability for cross-functional initiatives.Strengthen stakeholder engagement and collaboration across organizations.The pay range for this role is $105,050 to $161,800 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only).
