Job summary

Amazon is seeking a detail-oriented Program & Operational Excellence Specialist in Tempe, AZ to act as the operational backbone of Carrier Services Strategic Programs. You will own governance, initiative tracking, and continuous improvement from ideation to delivery with rigor, visibility, and cross-functional alignment.

You will facilitate stand-ups, maintain tracking systems, and prepare leadership materials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, charts, lookups, data cleansing).
• Experience handling large data sets to drive improvements.
• Experience writing technical documents and progress reports.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate daily stand-ups (15-minute) and monthly planning cycles.
• Own and maintain initiative tracking (Asana/SharePoint dashboards).
• Ensure intake fields for initiatives (R&D, CAPEX, P&L impact).
• Prepare leadership pre-reads for reviews (MBR/QBR).
• Document actions, decisions, and escalation paths.
• Maintain RAID log across initiative portfolio.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and dependencies weekly.
