Job summary

George Mason University seeks a Part-Time Program Lead to support the Executive Director of Nexus234 Innovation District and the Costello College of Business, with engagement across the SciTech campus in Manassas. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of related experience and education.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication, critical thinking and strategic thinking skills.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
• Experience developing, managing, and executing programs or projects.
• Experience managing events and working with high-level executives, speakers, and/or senior level administrators.

Responsibilities

• Develops and delivers stakeholder pathways and student programs, and supports leadership teams in program design and delivery.
• Manages day-to-day program operations and represents CIE at events.
• Supports grant identification and submission in collaboration with leadership teams.
• Provides mentorship to interns and supervises wage/non-student employees.
• Writes content for print, newsletters, websites, and social media; promotes events in collaboration with marketing teams.
• Provides administrative support, maintains records, and supports procurement and grant reporting.
• Promotes events across GMU campuses and external stakeholders; plans and staffs onsite events; coordinates with marketing teams.
• Manages special projects as assigned by leadership teams.
