Job summary

CarMax Auto Finance is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead complex cross-functional initiatives from discovery through implementation. You will partner with business leaders, Product, Technology, and Operations to frame problems, shape practical solutions, and drive adoption across CAF processes and systems.

The ideal candidate will own ambiguous problems, ask thoughtful questions, and connect business needs with technology-enabled opportunities, ensuring measurable outcomes and governance

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
5+ years leading complex cross-functional programs or technology-enabled change.
Strong ability to own ambiguous problems and move work forward.
Excellent written and verbal communication across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Own complex cross-functional initiatives by clarifying problems, outcomes, impacts, and constraints.
Lead problem framing and solution shaping with facts and questions across business, Product, and Tech teams.
Evaluate options including process redesign, automation, reporting, data improvements, and AI-enabled capabilities.
Develop executive-level materials, roadmaps, and governance updates for leadership.
