Job summary

Exelon is seeking an engineer to support PECO's Neighborhood Gas Pilot Program within the Strategic Programs group. You will contribute to preliminary design, serve as a technical resource, and assist with CIAC calculations, project management, and platform design.

You will collaborate with the Neighborhood Gas Pilot team and PECO Gas Operations, interact with customers, and help translate engineering analyses into safe, reliable gas infrastructure improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering required.
• 2–4 years of professional engineering experience.
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex electrical and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of engineering designs, principles and practices.
• Familiar with regulations, guides, standards and codes for the discipline.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering tasks under guidance, collect data, analyze results and present recommendations.
• Analyze large projects systems and power flows, perform complex tests.
• Direct engineering tasks on large projects and ensure designs meet standards.
• Evaluate effectiveness of current technical systems and participate in cross-functional teams.
