Job summary

Spire is seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee programs and projects from their lifecycles, ensuring alignment with strategy, optimizing value creation, and driving cross-functional collaboration in the Saint Louis area.

The role emphasizes portfolio governance, risk management, and strong partnerships with department leadership to deliver high-quality, on-time, and cost-effective outcomes. Hybrid work arrangement is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in an analytical field (i.e. Engineering, Science, Business, IT).
• Master's degree preferred.
• PMP or other recognized project management curriculum required; Change management certification preferred.
• Other accreditations such as PMI-PgMP, PMI-PBA, PMI-ACP, SAFe Program Consultant, Lean Six Sigma are valued.

Responsibilities

• Plan, forecast, and manage portfolio of projects through the program and project lifecycles.
• Lead annual business planning process for allocated domains.
• Manage program and project plan integration with cross-functional impacts.
• Set governance and standards for programs and projects with leadership.
• Apply Lean Portfolio Management to maximize portfolio results.
• Develop and maintain project portfolio management tools and analytics.
• Apply various methodologies (waterfall, agile, hybrid) as needed.
