Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Melbourne, FL, on-site, is seeking a Principal/Senior Principal Program Planning Scheduling Analyst to join our team. This role focuses on developing and maintaining the Integrated Master Schedule and ensuring cross-functional alignment across finance, engineering, and manufacturing.

Responsibilities include risk analysis, schedule tracking, and applying earned value management techniques to drive performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience in program planning, scheduling, and/or related fields or Master’s with 3 years of experience; 9 years may be used in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
• Must have an active U.S. Government Secret clearance or higher (with BI within 6 years or Continuous Evaluation).
• Must be able to obtain and maintain Program Access as required by the company.
• Demonstrated experience in developing an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
• Demonstrated experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Level 4 requires Bachelor’s with 8 years or Master’s with 6 years or 12 years in lieu of Bachelor’s.
• Preferred: experience in material cost management; SAP and MPM/COBRA experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, develops and coordinates the IMS to meet program objectives.
• Ensures major project schedules are integrated across functions (finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, quality).
• Tracks plans, performs risk analysis, resolves critical path and network logic conflicts.
• Uses Gantt, PERT, earned value management to gauge progress and identify variances.
