Job summary

Beyond SOF is seeking a Program Manager in Syracuse, NY, to oversee day-to-day execution of programs and projects. You will develop schedules, coordinate resources, manage risk, and ensure contractual compliance and budgets while serving as the main point of contact for internal and external customers.

You will advance opportunities by assisting with RFI/RFP responses, translating customer needs into technical action plans, and creating cost estimates and BOEs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Physics, or other technical discipline.
• 10+ years industry experience and 3+ years of proven technical project or product management experience.
• Experience with cost estimating, BOE generation, schedule, and budget management.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience interfacing directly with customers and breaking down requirements into plans.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day execution of programs and projects, develop schedules and coordinate resources.
• Facilitate removal of barriers, dependencies, and risk, and ensure contractual compliance and budgets.
• Serve as primary contact for internal and external customers and report status, risks, and issues.
• Assist with responses to RFI/RFP and bridge technical and business goals for opportunities.
• Collaborate with engineering to solve technical challenges and define action plans.
