Job summary

University of Virginia is seeking a Program Manager for the UVAPHI to translate strategic vision into actionable programs and day-to-day operations. This role partners with the Initiative Director and UVA Health to build a sustainable, university-wide precision health program.

The ideal candidate will manage advisory boards, foster cross-disciplinary networks, develop web presence, coordinate events, and track impact with metrics and funding opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated experience in program or project management.
• Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate an external advisory board and national leaders in precision health.
• Build UVA Precision Health membership network across UVA and UVA Health.
• Develop the Initiative’s web presence with UVA communications and web teams.
• Develop and strengthen the partnership with the Manning Institute of Biotechnology and UVA Health.
• Plan and coordinate seminars, symposia, and advisory board meetings; track impact metrics.
