Job summary

MISUMI Americas is seeking a Strategic Program Manager to lead complex manufacturing programs from NPD through mass production, partnering with sales, engineering and fulfillment teams to ensure on-time, within-budget launches and high quality. You’ll guide customers through product lifecycles and act as a trusted advisor across engineering, operations, and logistics to deliver measurable value.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
5+ years of experience managing projects/programs in fast-paced engineering or manufacturing.
Hands-on NPD, NPI, and high-volume manufacturing experience.
Strong cross-functional collaboration and customer-facing engagement.

Responsibilities

Act as the primary customer advocate and build relationships to deliver high-quality experiences.
Collaborate with pre- & post-sales teams to ensure on-time delivery and manage changes.
Leverage engineering and manufacturing expertise to identify risks and mitigation plans.
Serve as SME for the program to align internal teams and customers.
Monitor milestones and adjust timelines to meet customer expectations and quality.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive efficiency.
Facilitate regular status meetings with customers and internal teams.
Maintain and contribute to the QMS.
