Job summary

MISUMI Americas is seeking a Strategic Program Manager to lead cross-functional programs from NPD/NPI through mass production. You will partner with sales, solutions engineering, and fulfillment to ensure on-time delivery within budget and high quality while driving continuous improvement.

You’ll act as the customer advocate, manage risks, and guide internal teams with SME insights across engineering and manufacturing. The role emphasizes process optimization and strong stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience managing projects/programs in fast-paced engineering or manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on experience with NPD, NPI, and high-volume manufacturing facilities.
• Expertise in CNC Machining, 3D Printing, Injection Molding, Sheet Metal Fabrication, Die Casting, or Assembly.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary customer advocate, building relationships to deliver high-quality experiences.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with pre- and post-sale teams to ensure on-time delivery and manage risks.
• Leverage engineering and manufacturing expertise to identify risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Serve as SME for the program to guide internal teams and customers.
• Monitor and report milestones, adjust timelines and deliverables as needed.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Facilitate regular status meetings with customers and internal teams to align requirements and timelines.
