Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a Project Manager to lead large, high-risk strategic programs, delivering value to executive sponsors. This hybrid role blends strategy with formal project management to meet time, scope, and budget objectives.

The role partners with the ADUSA Portfolio team to coordinate multiple interdependent initiatives, report progress, and ensure governance discipline. Core locations include Salisbury, NC, Quincy, MA, Carlisle, PA, and Scarborough, ME.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience leading project work and/or teams.
• Experience enabling PM capabilities and governance.

Responsibilities

• Engage with strategy and project teams to define baseline objectives, scope, schedule and resources.
• Ensure alignment of project scope with overall strategy and ADUSA objectives.
• Develop project charter, obtain approvals, and manage scope changes.
• Prepare executive communications and Steering Committee materials.
• Serve as a strategic thought partner to influence program direction.
• Develop and maintain project governance with stakeholders and accountability.
• Maintain project plans in the PPM tool with appropriate detail.
• Track risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies to resolution.
• Produce consolidated initiative status reports on schedule.
• Identify opportunities to grow PM skills and share knowledge.
• Communicate clearly in written and verbal form.
• Prioritize day-to-day work to meet business needs.
• Facilitate efficient meetings and capture decisions and next steps.
• Escalate critical issues to sponsors for mitigation.
• Manage project documents in SharePoint and support change management.
• Collaborate with Organizational Effectiveness and Communications teams.
