Job summary

Ascent Global Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Senior Program Manager to own and orchestrate technology initiatives across the customer-facing shipment visibility platform and final-mile apps.

You will align roadmaps with business goals, partner with senior sponsors, and act as the IT SME for domain applications. You will drive governance, sequencing, and benefits realization, leveraging AI tools to accelerate planning and reporting, while collaborating with logistics and operations teams to ensure

Qualifications

• 7+ years managing programs or large, cross-functional initiatives; PMO experience preferred.
• Strong governance, dependency management, and benefits realization skills.
• Experience partnering with senior stakeholders to align tech outputs with business outcomes.
• Excellent executive communication: brief, concise, and actionable for leaders.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into program roadmaps with outcomes and scope.
• Extensive experience in logistics or supply chain processes.
• Solid knowledge of Agile and structured delivery methods; AI tooling for reporting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the domain's portfolio of related initiatives; align to objectives and shape the roadmap.
• Frame major project outcomes with the business and translate into a coherent program plan.
• Act as internal IT SME for the domain's applications and maintain deep system knowledge.
• Maintain one integrated roadmap for the shared customer visibility platform with the product owner.
• Understand business units and how platforms are used to evaluate requests against real workflows.
• Turn needs into outcome statements, scope, and sequencing; surface trade-offs.
• Coordinate timing, handoffs, and sequencing across initiatives; surface conflicts early.
• Governance and reporting to sponsors; enforce PMO standards across the program.
• Champion PMO methodology; ensure consistency across the program.
• Define and measure value delivery; provide visibility into progress toward outcomes.
• Engage business UAT testers and manage schedules for major projects.
