Job summary

Sonic Automotive is seeking a Senior Project Manager within the Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) in Charlotte, NC. You will deploy project management methodologies and governance tools to enable high-quality execution of programs across three business segments.

Responsibilities include leading complex projects, guiding governance & status meetings, producing executive dashboards, and partnering with sponsors and cross-functional teams to define objectives and benefits realization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of project management experience, including program-level oversight.
• PMP certification is required.
• Proven leadership and communication skills across multiple business and technology organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of complex cross-functional projects.
• Manage all project lifecycle phases using governance standards and ensure on-time, on-scope delivery.
• Develop executive-level communications, dashboards, and status reports with clear health, milestones, risks, and dependencies.
• Collaborate with sponsors, business leaders, product owners, and cross-functional teams to define objectives and success metrics.
• Maintain project plans, schedules, and governance documentation throughout the lifecycle.
