Job summary

Sonic Automotive is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join the Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO). You will deploy project management methodologies and governance across the company’s three business segments, ensuring successful, high-quality delivery of complex programs.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage all lifecycle stages, and craft executive-ready communications and dashboards. A PMP and 10+ years of experience are required, with strong leadership and stakeholder

Qualifications

PMP certification is required.
10+ years of Project Management experience, including program-level oversight.
Proven leadership and communication skills across multiple business and technology groups.
Experience with OKR/KPI frameworks and benefits realization.
Ability to influence without authority and drive stakeholder adoption.

Responsibilities

Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of complex, cross-functional projects.
Manage all phases of the project lifecycle using EPMO governance standards.
Develop executive-level communications, dashboards, and status reports.
Partner with sponsors, business leaders, and cross-functional teams to define objectives and outcomes.
Establish and maintain project plans, schedules, and governance documentation.
