Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Program Manager, CMC Portfolio Management, to lead development and maintenance of CMC project plans for PPDS​T teams, using standardized PM tools and processes. You will manage timelines, rosters, and scenario planning, interfacing with Development Sciences leaders and external stakeholders across R&D/Ops/Commercial.

The role requires strong program management, leadership, and a strategic mindset to drive milestones and advocate best practices across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical or scientific field with extensive pharma/biotech experience.
• Accreditation in project management or process improvement is highly preferred.
• 2+ years of project management experience with cross-functional leadership.
• Strong communication, negotiation, risk management, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently provide advanced and extensive project management support to multiple complex drug development and on-market projects.
• Lead PPDST team meetings, set agendas, capture actions, and drive accountability for milestones.
• Ensure tools, reports, and data support accurate resource estimates and program reviews.
• Coordinate knowledge management materials and maintain SharePoint/Team sites for PPDST teams.
• Identify and implement process improvements; lead small teams to achieve defined objectives.
