Job summary

Tenneco seeks a Program Manager to lead assigned customer and internal programs from quotation through launch and production. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams across engineering, quality, purchasing, manufacturing and finance to ensure safety, timing, delivery, and cost goals are met.

The role requires five or more years in manufacturing or automotive program management, strong communication, and experience with APQP/PPAP and lean practices. Domestic travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
• MBA preferred.
• PMP or PMI certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned programs through all program phases and gate reviews from award through launch and production.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive timing plans to support successful launches and milestones.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, plants, and cross‑functional teams to meet safety, timing, quality, cost, and financial targets.
• Identify risks early, implement mitigation plans, and escalate critical issues.
• Drive phase‑gate reviews, ensure proper change management, and monitor program status and financials.
