Job summary

Moog Space and Defense Group in Goleta, CA is seeking a Program Manager to oversee multiple production or development initiatives valued between $1–$12 million, coordinating across Moog’s functional departments to meet contractual requirements and profitability.

The role reports to the Manager, Sustainment and requires strong communication, planning, and customer liaison skills; travel up to 10% is expected. Goleta, CA location and onsite work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or technical field (engineering preferred).
• 5 years of experience in engineering, supply chain, or operations in high-engineering manufacturing.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills; emotional intelligence.
• Ability to present program information to customers and management; works under pressure.
• Experience with DoD customers a plus; knowledge of DoD terms is a plus.
• PMI PMP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple production or development initiatives, typically valued $1–$12 million.
• Develop program plans and direct execution through Moog functional departments.
• Serve as primary customer contact and deliver status reports to client and Moog leadership.
• Monitor cost, schedule, and task completion; ensure alignment with contract requirements.
• Coordinate resources with functional management and prepare for reviews and meetings.
