Job summary

Westchester Medical Center is seeking a Program Manager to lead the Total Joint & Bariatric Services for the Western Region Hospitals. This role coordinates surgical and administrative efforts, ensures program development and aligns with value-based care and Ambulatory Care Management services.

The incumbent will drive engagement with surgeons and hospital leadership, oversee Joint Commission and MBSAQIP readiness, and lead staff education to sustain accreditation and improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in acute care preferred?
• Experience coordinating care programs and multidisciplinary teams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the operational plan for Total Joint & Bariatric programs.
• Analyze program data and report to stakeholders.
• Coordinate pre-operative education, medical clearance, intraoperative and post-operative guidance.
• Organize meetings with surgeons and administrators.
• Monitor Joint Commission and MBSAQIP compliance.
• Lead staff education on new standards and performance measures.
• Implement action plans and track quality improvements.
• Enter performance data promptly and build clinician relationships.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
