Job summary

Signal Centers in Chattanooga, TN seeks a Deputy Program Officer to advance strategic and operational goals across programs. You will work closely with the Chief Program Officer to deepen program knowledge, lead management, and ensure high-quality services in the community.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Non-profit Management or related field, 5+ years in nonprofit program management, and 2+ years of supervisory experience with budgeting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Non-profit Management or related field; Master's preferred.
  • At least five years’ experience in Non-profit program management with increasing responsibility.
  • Two years’ managerial experience including budgeting and staff development.
  • Experience in leadership, coaching, and relationship management.
  • Strong ethics and ability to meet strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with maintaining programmatic excellence, ensuring compliance with funders, updating policies, and developing programmatic reviews.
  • Assist program managers to develop timelines and resources and adhere to program budgets.
  • Help measure and track program performance and outcomes throughout the year.
  • Foster inter-program communication and cohesion, supporting growth.
  • Instill a culture of accountability among program management staff.
