Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; 4–8 years of relevant experience.
• 4-8 years’ experience with Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Deltek Costpoint and IBM Cognos Report.
• Experience with cost-reimbursable contracts such as CPFF and T&M.
• Knowledge of government contracts, funding profiles, sales outlook and variance analysis preferred.
• Ability to obtain a US Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit invoices in accordance with contract terms and customer requirements.
• Review billable costs for accuracy, completeness, and compliance prior to invoicing.
• Process billing for various contract types including cost-reimbursable, T&M, and fixed-price.
• Monitor contract funding, billing ceilings, and unbilled balances.
• Coordinate with program managers, contracts, and accounting to resolve billing discrepancies.
• Analyze billing activity, funding status, sales outlook, and variances.
• Maintain complete and accurate billing documentation and records.
• Research and resolve customer billing questions and payment issues.
• Ensure billing practices align with internal controls and regulations.
• Assist with audit requests and other financial reviews.
