Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation seeks a Financial Analyst for the Civil Systems Group Financial Management Team. You will manage budgets, forecasts, and analyses, partnering with leadership to achieve organizational goals and coordinating with multiple divisions for financial operations.

This is a full-time, on-site role in Chantilly, VA. You'll work with program directors, track budgets, and deliver standard and ad-hoc reports, while developing strategic relationships with business partners and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• 10+ years of experience in finance or a related analytical field.
• Experience in government contracting with all contract types and revenue recognition principles.
• Experience with baseline planning and scheduling, forecasting, risk analysis, and Estimates at Complete (EACs).
• Advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cost and schedule baselines and forecasts integrated with SOWs.
• Track indirect and direct budget allocations and labor charges.
• Generate weekly/monthly financial analyses, year-end reporting, and ad-hoc reports.
• Initiate progress reports, cost estimates, and budget reviews.
• Inform leadership on financial trends, unit performance, and corrective actions.
• Compare actuals to plans and forecast; communicate reliable metrics.
