Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. in Linthicum, MD seeks a Senior Principal Program Cost Control Analyst to provide program planning and financial control for multiple defense contracts. The role requires a Secret clearance and entails about 10% travel, with an onsite 9/80 work schedule in a mission systems environment.

You will partner with CAMs and program managers to ensure cost control, budgets, and schedules align with contract requirements and government guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of related professional experience OR Master’s degree with 6 years of related professional experience
• Proficient Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, conditional formatting)
• Willingness to travel domestically ~10% of the time
• U.S. citizenship required for government clearance
• Active US Secret level security clearance desired/preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide program planning and financial control support for assigned contracts
• Prepare budgets and schedules for contract work, conduct financial analyses and variance analysis
• Develop cost baselines, aid in funding profiles, cash forecasting and sales outlooks
• Perform Earned Value management tasks including WBS development and estimates to complete
• Maintain accurate expenditure records, monitor costs and schedules, support audits and government reporting
• Prepare internal reports and dashboards to support planning and management decisions
