Job summary

Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is seeking a Production Planner/Coordinator to establish and coordinate production schedules in a factory environment.

You will work within the Production Control team to optimize flow of materials and assemblies, prioritizing activities to meet deadlines and addressing equipment downtime and shortages. Responsibilities include enhancing SAP usage for scheduling, developing production control reports, and maintaining optimal inventory levels while coordinating

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required.
• 2+ years’ experience in manufacturing or production planning.
• Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and coordinate production schedules to optimize material flow.
• Prioritize and plan production activities to meet on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with Production Control to address downtime and shortages.
• Enhance SAP usage to improve scheduling and reduce downtime and inventory.
• Develop and analyze production control reports to drive improvements.
• Monitor supplier performance and coordinate with the supply base to resolve issues.
• Manage inventory levels to avoid excess or shortages.
• Communicate potential supply problems to management in a timely manner.
