Impulse Space in Redondo Beach is seeking a Production Control Scheduler to coordinate schedules, materials, and workflows across manufacturing teams. You will ensure plans stay aligned with priorities and delivery goals while resources are allocated efficiently.

The ideal candidate has a technical/business background, 3+ years in production control, and hands-on experience with ERP systems, Kanban, and KPI reporting to drive continuous improvement and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, operations, or related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in production control, manufacturing planning, scheduling, or a similar role.
• 3+ years of proficiency with production planning tools, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience managing complex workflows in a dynamic manufacturing or R&D environment.
• Ability to develop, maintain, and adjust production schedules based on changing priorities and resource availability.
• Strong understanding of production processes, scheduling methods, and workflow coordination.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain detailed production schedules aligned with changing priorities, delivery requirements, and operational goals.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, vendors) to gather inputs and adjust schedules.
• Prioritize and sequence work orders to maximize efficiency and resource utilization.
• Utilize planning tools such as ticketing systems, Kanban boards, and progress trackers to monitor production status.
• Track and report KPIs measuring resource efficiency and output.
• Conduct daily stand-ups to review schedules, address bottlenecks, and communicate changes in priorities or timelines.
• Coordinate the flow of materials, components, and assemblies through the production process to ensure timely execution of scheduled work.
• Monitor resource availability (materials, tools, equipment, personnel) to ensure production teams have what they need.
• Adjust workload distribution to address constraints and changing priorities with minimal disruptions.
• Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, delays, and scheduling conflicts to maintain efficiency and on-time delivery.
• Establish and maintain visual management systems to communicate status of work orders, materials, and production activities.
• Collaborate with supply chain and inventory to forecast material requirements and prevent shortages or excess inventory.
• Analyze production data to identify opportunities for efficiency gains, cost reductions, and schedule adherence.
• Implement process improvements to enhance production performance and visibility.
