Job summary

Xylem is seeking a Production Planner in Morrisville to develop and maintain production schedules, coordinate with purchasing, logistics, and manufacturing, and optimize resource use to meet customer demand.

You will monitor progress, adjust plans, analyze costs, support quality control, and drive process improvements while collaborating with cross-functional teams; a bachelor’s degree and strong analytics are required, with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field with at least 2 years experience or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL).
• In-depth understanding of inventory management principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Production Scheduling: Develop and maintain a production schedule based on customer orders and production capacity.
• Inventory Management: Analyze inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing to ensure materials are available for production.
• Resource Coordination: Coordinate with production, sales, and logistics to ensure smooth flow of materials and information.
• Cost Analysis: Analyze production costs and monitor expenses to ensure budget adherence.
• Quality Control: Implement quality control measures and work with QA to address issues.
• Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate processes and implement efficiency improvements.
