Job summary

The Production Scheduler plays a vital role in planning and establishing production schedules, monitoring inventories, and coordinating with internal departments to ensure on-time deliveries and adherence to commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant experience considered in lieu of formal education.
• 2–5 years of experience in production scheduling in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain production schedules to optimize manufacturing efficiency and meet delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with purchasing to ensure component availability for production needs.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to align with schedules.
• Use MRP software to track materials, monitor inventory levels, and support scheduling processes.
• Communicate ship dates with customer service to meet customer requirements.
• Follow and enforce company policies to maintain compliance and operational effectiveness.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned to support production goals.
