Job summary

MGM Temps is seeking a Production Scheduler in Commerce, CA to develop and maintain daily and weekly production plans. You will evaluate material availability, capacity, labor resources, and manufacturing constraints to optimize scheduling and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include releasing and sequencing orders, monitoring adherence, communicating delays, and collaborating with Planning, Purchasing, Inventory Control, and Warehouse teams to resolve constraints and improve performance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
• 3-5 years of experience in Production Scheduling, Manufacturing Operations, or a related field preferred.
• Manufacturing experience required; make-to-order or discrete manufacturing experience preferred.
• ERP system experience required; Syteline experience is a plus.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules based on the approved Production Plan.
• Release, prioritize, and sequence production orders to meet customer delivery requirements.
• Monitor schedule adherence and adjust priorities as needed.
• Communicate production schedules, priority changes, and potential delays to stakeholders.
• Identify capacity constraints, bottlenecks, and production risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Work closely with Planning, Purchasing, Inventory Control, and Warehouse teams.
