Job summary

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in production planning, materials planning, or related manufacturing environment.
• Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer requirements, capacity, materials, and inventory.
• Monitor production progress and identify risks to on-time delivery.
• Use MRP to determine material requirements and potential shortages.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to address material availability and supplier delays.
• Analyze capacity and adjust schedules or priorities as needed.
• Prepare weekly production schedules for Operations and Warehouse.
• Ensure production priorities align with delivery dates.
• Collaborate with production team leaders to address scheduling constraints.
• Analyze delays to identify root causes and support corrective actions.
• Monitor inventory levels and material availability to support uninterrupted production.
• Coordinate with colleagues in Italy on new components and material shortages.
• Analyze sales and demand to adjust production requirements.
