Job summary

Smurfit WestRock Company is seeking a Production Planner/Scheduler to create production schedules that maximize plant throughput, minimize cost, and ensure on-time delivery within specifications.

You will coordinate daily with production, customer service, graphics, maintenance, and shipping; track orders; adjust plans; and develop capacity reports to support the IBP process. APICS certification preferred and 1-5 years in a process manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• APICS certification preferred.
• 1-5 years’ experience in a process manufacturing environment (scheduling preferred).
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Ability to plan and organize workload.

Responsibilities

• Create daily production schedules across multiple shifts.
• Track orders and production information, adjust as necessary.
• Coordinate with production, customer service, logistics, maintenance, and shipping.
• Maximize asset utilization and minimize costs through schedule management.
• Generate capacity plans and reports to support the IBP process.
