Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, NM seeks a Production Planning Control Specialist to collaborate with production operations and development teams to optimize material flow and scheduling. You will use MRP tools to ensure availability of raw materials and jobs on the floor and report status to management.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with 5 years of related experience, knowledge of MRPs (Oracle/SAP), and the ability to obtain a DOE Q clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and 5 years of related experience (or equivalent).
• Experience in manufacturing with knowledge of MRPs and related business practices (Oracle, SAP).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute material requirements and production build schedules to support internal and external customer delivery.
• Utilize MRP tools to ensure availability and flow of raw materials and jobs on the production floor.
• Monitor, report to management on status and issues related to material availability and the production plan.
• Analyze material and job status to identify issues and implement recovery plans with relevant teams.
