Job summary

Caliberr Staffing seeks a Production Planning Lead to orchestrate complex manufacturing schedules and optimize resource allocation in Windsor, CT. You will scale production capabilities using data-driven insights to ensure seamless workflows and superior on-time delivery performance.

Responsibilities include designing comprehensive schedules, bridging gaps between engineering, procurement, and shop-floor, and deploying advanced planning tools. Lean principles and Six Sigma experience are a plus.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in production planning, scheduling, or MPS in manufacturing.
  • Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and MS Office.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex timelines.
  • Analytical mindset translating data into decisions.
  • Lean manufacturing knowledge and process optimization experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute production schedules aligning output with demand.
  • Coordinate engineering, procurement, and shop-floor to remove bottlenecks.
  • Convert production data into forecasts for capacity planning.
  • Develop and deploy planning tools to modernize scheduling.
  • Lead continuous improvement to refine manufacturing processes and quality.
  • Provide leadership-level performance reports with KPIs and opportunities.
