Job summary

GEODynamics in Millsap, TX is seeking a Production Planner to develop and manage the production schedule for assigned products, ensuring raw materials and components are available to meet demand. You will coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to adjust plans as needed and maintain inventory levels in line with business goals.

The role emphasizes cross-functional communication, timely issuance of work orders, and performance monitoring to improve on-time delivery and reduce cycle times.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management preferred or equivalent experience.
• 4-6 years of experience in supply chain, scheduling and/or purchasing in fast-paced manufacturing.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills (MS Office - Excel, Outlook, MS Word) & ERP capability.
• Ability to work under pressure and multi-task.
• Ability to read, speak, and comprehend English.

Responsibilities

• Develops production schedule for assigned products with enough lead time to procure materials.
• Monitor adherence to schedules and facilitate actions to improve.
• Revise production schedule and communicate changes cross-functionally.
• Review nonstandard orders and resolve discrepancies.
• Process and issue Purchase Orders and Manufacturing Work Orders promptly.
• Schedule deliveries of materials for production.
• Order MRO supplies and materials for other departments as required.
• Negotiate prices and identify cost reduction opportunities.
• Maintain inventory balances and records.
• Address non-conformance materials with suppliers and lead improvement projects.
