Job summary

GEODynamics in Millsap, TX is seeking a Production Planner to develop and manage production schedules, ensuring timely procurement of materials and meeting forecasted demand. The role requires strong communication, ERP proficiency, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating with suppliers, generating POs and work orders, and maintaining inventory levels while driving cost improvements and process efficiencies across the supply

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management preferred or equivalent experience.
• 4–6 years in supply chain, scheduling and/or purchasing in fast-paced manufacturing.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills (MS Office) and ERP capability.
• Ability to work under pressure and multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Develops production schedule to meet demand and forecast requirements.
• Monitors schedule adherence and facilitates improvements.
• Revise production schedules and communicate changes cross-functionally.
• Creates and issues purchase orders and manufacturing work orders.
• Maintains inventory levels and coordinates material deliveries.
• Identifies cost reduction opportunities and leads related initiatives.
