Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required with 4 years' experience.
• OR Bachelor's Degree or above with 0 years' experience.
• Computer skills required.
• Communication skills required.
• Organizational skills required.
• Positive attitude required.
• Travel 10%-25% of the time.
• U.S. Citizenship is not required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, issue and control production schedules.
• Coordinate production schedules with material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials.
• Advise management on work-in-progress status, material availability and potential production problems.
• Schedule equipment and personnel.
• Confirm material supply and demands.
• Prepare work orders or purchase requests for production or purchase of components or parts based on the master production schedule, shop load and inventory requirements.
• Coordinate interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control and traffic.
• Schedule and expedite movement of parts through move orders, stock transfers and shipping-order requests.
