Job summary

OMCO, a MacLean-Fogg Company, is seeking a Production Planning and Control Analyst at our Wickliffe, Ohio facility. You will oversee production scheduling, optimize labor and resource utilization, analyze performance, and coordinate across functions to support efficient production and meet customer requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least five years of experience, strong communication, and ability to guide a planning team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required from an accredited program.
• Minimum five years of hands-on experience in production planning or operations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to guide and mentor planning teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
• Data analysis skills to inform decisions and improvements.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and solution implementation.
• Flexible and responsive to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assess production processes to identify bottlenecks, improve workflows, and align operations with demand forecasts.
• Create and maintain production schedules that balance supply and demand while maximizing resource utilization and minimizing downtime.
• Monitor production metrics and performance indicators and help implement corrective actions when results deviate from plan.
• Plan labor allocation to support cost-effective workforce utilization, productivity, and quality.
• Collaborate with procurement, quality, sales, and other functions to align production capabilities with business objectives and customer requirements.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to planning team members, supporting accountability and professional development.
• Prepare and present reports on production performance, schedule adherence, and resource utilization to support informed decision-making.
