Job summary

CECO Environmental is seeking a detail-oriented Planner/Scheduler for its manufacturing team. You will develop and maintain shop-floor production schedules tied to customer requirements, material availability, and capacity.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience as a Planner/Scheduler in a manufacturing environment (mixed make-to-stock and assemble-to-order preferred).
Proficiency in ERP systems (MS Dynamics 365 preferred; SAP/Oracle or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and collaboration across departments.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain production schedules for the shop floor aligned with customer delivery requirements.
Create production orders and modify them in the ERP system to reflect demand, material availability or capacity changes.
Review material demand, lead times, and ETA to ensure alignment with the schedule.
Coordinate with Purchasing, Inventory, and Production teams to resolve shortages or delays.
Monitor work-in-progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet demand/capacity.
Collaborate with Project Managers, Production Supervisors, and Engineering to ensure schedule feasibility.
