Job summary

AEVEX Aerospace is seeking a Production Planner to manage scheduling and timeliness of the production process. The role focuses on ensuring material, labor, and equipment availability, with attention to changes in production schedules and cost improvements.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor degree in a related field and 3–7 years in production planning, including MRP proficiency and strong communication skills. The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management or related field.
3 - 7 years working experience in production planning and scheduling.
Demonstrated knowledge of MRP processes and systems.
Proficient with computerized materials control programs and MRP systems.
Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Plan, schedule and coordinate production of the company's products based on material, labor, and equipment availability.
Evaluate raw materials and equipment to ensure readiness for production.
Execute Manufacturing Resource Planning using MRP system.
Stage materials orders, picking, kitting, work orders, and stocking levels.
Adjust production schedules to meet deadlines and inform relevant departments of changes.
Compile status and performance reports for management.
Resolve production issues to minimize delays.
Maintain capacity models and recommend cost/productivity improvements.
