• Alternative qualifications acceptable as listed (e.g., NNS Apprentice, NNPS, or combinations with experience)
• Military experience or equivalent combinations may satisfy the minimum requirements

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, issue and control production schedules
• Coordinate with material requirements to ensure timely flow of materials
• Advise management on work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems
• Schedule equipment and personnel and prepare work orders or purchase requests
• Coordinate interdepartmental activity across quality, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, and traffic

Education

Bachelor's Degree and 0 years of relevant exempt experience

NNS Apprentice School graduate

Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate

Associate's Degree or other 2 year program with experience

Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience

High School/GED with 4 years of manufacturing, shipbuilding, trades, or related experience

High School/GED with 8 years of manufacturing, shipbuilding, trades, or related non-exempt experience
